Daytrippers were designed for players who like to travel. While they are smaller than standard guitars, you get a full-size guitar tone and the quality and playability you expect from Ibanez. The Daytripper mini-dreadnought body is only 16" (vs. the normal 20") long and the neck scale is 22.5" (vs. standard 25.1"). The spruce top is complemented with mahogany neck, back, and sides; a rosewood bridge and fretboard; and chrome die-cast tuners. For 2009, the new pure acoustic DT100E has a mini dreadnought body with full-size tone, spruce top, mahogany back and sides and Ibanez onboard tuner.
